computer illustrations

"I work with art and design to express the diversity and radiance of the universe. It's a kind of magick.It is also a kind of scientific study. I use science photography for material and I work by testing many possibilities. These images are about orchids and some abstracted shapes of orchids. I use 3d and 2d computer programs to generate the images and use a pen tool to draw directly into the computer. I want it to be a pretty visual explosion. It is somewhere between illustration, painting, fabric design and animation cells. I have repeated the images but not altered them to create a seamless pattern. I work in the boundaries of this square and altering the image is like changing a painting I have already finished. I hope that the viewer might be able to see it as a strip of animation like cells and not failed fabric design".
